“De maanden die ik op het FairPlay kantoor in Cusco heb gewerkt zijn echt voorbij gevlogen. Aan de feestjes met ‘familie-leden’ (home-stay), de chica’s (leraressen), collega’s en studenten denk ik nog altijd graag terug, net als aan de jungle-trip waar we de arme kinderen kerstcadeautjes hebben gegeven. "Firstly I can't safe enough about my experience with FairPlay, both the Spanish classes/practical component and the volunteering. I decided to volunteer with Aldea Yanapay School and it was fantastic. I first visited FairPlay when I arrived in Cusco and immediately I was given information on where I could volunteer. My Spanish teacher Martha, who was outstanding, visited several of the volunteer locations with me and helped me select Aldea Yanapay school based on my interests and experience. After starting at the school, Martha was so supportive and even helped me create lesson plans for the class I was teaching. I spent one month at FairPlay studying Spanish while volunteering and it was an incredible opportunity to learn Spanish quickly and meaningfully.
